Terms of Service

Meroni Swing (the "Service") is an online platform for the swing dance community, offering features such as event listings, lesson registration, team and organization management, and social dance schedules.

These Terms apply to all users ("Members") of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Service is available only to individuals aged 14 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Providing false information may result in restriction of access.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials (email, password).
• Do not share your account or use another person's account without authorization.
• Comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

The following activities are prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination:

• Registering false information or impersonating others
• Harassment, defamation, or bullying of other Members
• Posting unauthorized advertisements or spam
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Collecting or using personal information of others without consent
• Any activity that violates applicable laws

Members are responsible for all content they post or transmit through the Service, including profiles, posts, comments, reviews, messages, event and lesson listings, marketplace listings, and images. Members must only post content for which they have the necessary rights and permissions.

For content posted in public areas, you grant the Service a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, display, store, back up, translate, search, share, review for reports, secure, and improve that content as necessary to operate the Service. This license is limited to Service operation. When you delete content or your account, the license ends within a reasonable period except where retention is necessary for legal compliance, backups, dispute handling, safety, or preserving community history.

You may not post or transmit content that promotes illegal or dangerous activity, sexual exploitation or content inappropriate for minors, hate, harassment, threats, privacy violations, unauthorized disclosure of personal information, infringement of third-party rights, fraud, phishing, spam, malware, graphic or sexually explicit content, unrelated commercial advertising, or any content that violates applicable law or these Terms.

Members may report inappropriate content or users through in-app reporting features or customer support channels. To review reports, the Service may process the reported target, reason, location, and description provided by the reporter.

If a report or internal review indicates a possible violation, the Service may hide, remove, or limit content; restrict features; issue a warning; suspend an account; or terminate an account. The Service may act without prior notice where urgent safety or security risks, unlawful activity, repeated violations, or evidence preservation make immediate action necessary.

Members may block other Members, which limits certain interactions such as messages. If you disagree with a report outcome or enforcement action, you may submit an appeal with reasons and supporting materials through support@meroniswing.com or the in-app support feature. The Service will review appeals within a reasonable period.

The Service provides a platform for listing and registering for lessons and events. The quality, safety, and content of lessons and events are the responsibility of the respective organizers or instructors.

All physical activities, including swing dancing, carry a risk of injury. Members should consider their own health and fitness before participating. The Service is not liable for injuries resulting from participation.

Lesson payment features are currently not operational. This section describes the default policy that will apply once payment features are activated.

Once activated, payments for lesson registrations will be governed by the respective organizer's policies. Refund conditions and procedures follow each lesson's refund policy. The Service acts only as an intermediary platform.

Under the Korean Electronic Commerce Act, cancellation requests may be made within 7 days. After a lesson has started, refunds may be prorated based on the remaining period. Please refer to the separate Refund Policy page for details.

As a platform, the Service is not directly liable for transactions or disputes between Members or between Members and third parties. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information, and limits its liability to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The Service is not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters or system failures.

The Service may suspend or terminate a Member's account without prior notice in the following cases:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that harms other Members
• Violation of applicable laws

Members may request account deletion at any time, subject to a 30-day grace period. During the grace period, the deletion may be cancelled by signing in. After the grace period expires, the account is permanently deleted or anonymized. Information required to be retained by law will be stored separately for the applicable retention period.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

The Service may modify these Terms as necessary. Changes will be announced through the Service. If changes are unfavorable to Members, notice will be given at least 7 days before the effective date.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will seek your explicit consent through a separate agreement process. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may discontinue use and delete your account.
